VILLAGE BOARD CANDIDATES DEBATE IN WAPPINGER

I had the privilege of attending a political debate between two candidates who showed commendable transparency and courage by engaging in a public forum that encouraged residents to ask questions. I would like to extend special recognition to John Tyliszcza, the village trustee, for his significant contributions to improving the village of Wappinger. John has been instrumental in initiatives such as the cleanup of the local lake and the organization of community events, including the tree lighting and menorah lighting ceremonies, all of which foster unity among residents. Although I do not reside in The Village of Wappingers, I have developed a strong working relationship with John and firmly believe he possesses the qualities necessary for effective leadership. Both candidates performed admirably, highlighting the importance of local governance in our democracy.
